Is there a podcast client that runs in the browser from my home server

Hi,

I'm looking for a podcast client that runs in the background, and has a locally-installed web-based interface that allows me to manage what podcasts i'm synced to, refresh the feeds manually if i want etc. etc. .

e.g. it downloads the files to a directory on the server, and i can also access the frontend via a web interface, so I can manage them over the web?

I think Plex answers the mail on that.  It might need a podcast plug in.

Oh boy. That's what I need!
I tried the Logitech media Server because I use it for my multiroom audio but the software would not recognise the last pause of the podcast file after listening to some music.

My next attempt would be something with bashpodder. It's like a simple bash script which does all the download, etc really nice but I have no idea how to listen to this via web and sync the status.

Maybe vlc is able to do that?
