[solved] Xlib error: GLX missing

Hi,

I have the following problem when trying to open the webcam program cheese:

[frederik@frederik-arch-linux ~]$ cheese
Xlib:  extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib:  extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
get chip id failed: -1 [13]
param: 4, val: 0
[intel_init_bufmgr:1087] Error initializing buffer manager.
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

By some google searching I found that it was because of some graphic card problems. Therefore I uninstalled bumblebee, but I dont know how to uninstall the Nvidia driver. I have no Nvidia or Nvidia-utils, I just have a manually installed from there website?

i dont think it's a good idea to install drivers like that.

I also came to that conclusion, but I dont know how to uninstall all of the Nvidia stuff. I have uninstalled Primus, Bumblebee, my custom Nvidia driver - but how do I check if I have uninstalled all the software/drivers regarding Nvidia?

1) I believe the nVidia driver install script has a way to uninstall the driver. If not, time to Google up all the files you need to remove.
2) Don't install the nVidia driver from the website. use pacman to install it.

Okay, thankyou I will remove all of it manually. And then install from pacman, thankyou for the help.
