Steam doesn't start

When I start STEAM from the konsole:

/home/jatin/.local/share/Steam/steam.sh: line 161: VERSION_ID: unbound variable

Running Steam on arch  64-bit
/home/jatin/.local/share/Steam/steam.sh: line 161: VERSION_ID: unbound variable
STEAM_RUNTIME is enabled automatically
Installing breakpad exception handler for appid(steam)/version(0)

I installed nvidia-340xx-libgl nvidia-340xx-utils and lib32-opencl-nvidia-340xx and opencl-headers

output of

lspci -k | grep -A 2 -E "(VGA|3D)"

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GF119 [GeForce GT 705] (rev a1)
        Subsystem: NVIDIA Corporation Device 1086
        Kernel driver in use: nvidia
