Hi,
in my terminal I've got certain displaying bugs using Vim. Please see attached screenshots:
You can see for example:
- the one single quote actually is a double quote
- left bracket is cut in a half
- some letters as well
- some spacer pipes to the right panel are completely invisible, some not
Is there way to fix this? Seems like it is not related to a specific font, as I tried multiple. As well I played with anti aliasing and hinting settings in xfce, with no permanent success so far...
Best regards
Simon
EDIT: Solved - Seems like it was related to the font.

And does the problem persist if you use a vanilla rc? Or disable the plugins?
Offline
Hi, just tested deactivating all the Plugins / Settings one by one. No Improvement so far.
I've got the same symptom on my Laptop with Intel graphics as well. So its not related to the video adapter either.

Does disabling all settings/plugins include the colorscheme?
Offline
Yep, colorscheme as well.
But... though I did test different fonts, I just switched to Source Code Pro which seems to be fine so far. No issues for now... Seems like it's related to the font after all.
Thanks for your help and thoughts, I'll mark as solved for now.
Edit:
Some more feedback on that topic. Actually it seems that its related the a specific Font. The fairly popular "Hack", which seems to have a little bug in the OTF builds. TTF are working well so far. See that github issue for updates and further information: https://github.com/chrissimpkins/Hack/issues/74
