Powerpill not really userfriendly

Hi, I'm trying to use powerpill in order to improve my download speed, this is a really cool pacman wrapper but not really easy to configure.

I've try to install and use it but first you need to set SigLevel = PackageRequired in /etc/pacman.conf
Then use reflector "reflector -p rsync -f 5 -l 5" to generate the list and past it into "powerpill.conf" section "Server" (note that rsync is not necessary but it's on the wiki so... second step need to install rsync before).
Then if you want to use yaourt with powerpill you need to add in the file "/etc/yaourtrc" the line "PacmanBin /usr/bin/powerpill" and set the variable PACMAN="powerpill"

Powerpill is no longer maintened ? Is there a simpler method to configure the software ?

Is there software which can have simultaneous download, a resume function, access to AUR, auto-update mirrorlist with fastest server and rank and easy to setup ? (like yaourt but with more features)

By default, Powerpill is configured to use Reflector to retrieve the current list of mirrors from the Arch Linux server's web API and use them for parallel downloads. This is to make sure that there are enough servers in the list for significant speed improvements.

Melkir, that sounds like powerpill will use reflector to configure itself without you having to do it manually.
Powerpill is created by Xyne, and updated when needed (usually when pacman changes).

Nope, you'll have to write it yourself.
