Any working last.fm scrobbler for mpd?

Hi,

With the recent launch of the new last.fm website they apparently disabled the old scrobbler API (version 1.2). This had the effect that mpdscribble, which I used previously, stopped submitting played songs.
I already tried the other two programs mentioned in the wiki:
mpdcron is using the old 1.2 API and isn't working either. mpdas claims to use the new 2.0 API, but I only get an authentication error when running it (using the same credentials as mpdscribble).

Does anybody know of a mpd compatible scrobbler which still works?

mpdscribble works perfectly.... using it everyday including just now
also where did you get that information about disabling 1.2 api. i cant find that info anywhere
