Kindle doesn't show up as a device

It used to, but I can't remember since when this happens. Either way:

    % pacman -Q linux
    linux 4.1.6-1

The /dev/sda* are my hard drive. I'd be glad to provide more info if needed.

Re: Kindle doesn't show up as a device

I am not able to replicate the problem. My Kindle is accessible to me.

[matthew@bumblebee ~]$ lsusb | grep Kindle
Bus 001 Device 008: ID 1949:0004 Lab126, Inc. Amazon Kindle 3/4/Paperwhite

[matthew@bumblebee ~]$ uname -r
4.1.6-1-ARCH

[matthew@bumblebee ~]$ ls /run/media/matthew/Kindle/
documents system

What have you tried to do to resolve the matter?

Have you tried restarting the kindle, then reconnecting?

Re: Kindle doesn't show up as a device

I did restart it plenty of times.

"Solved" it by using a 3.9.something kernel on another machine. Haven't and probably not going to downgrade to another kernel and test it out on my machine.
