I am not able to replicate the problem. My Kindle is accessible to me.

Have you tried restarting the kindle, then reconnecting?

I did restart it plenty of times.
"Solved" it by using a 3.9.something kernel on another machine. Haven't and probably not going to downgrade to another kernel and test it out on my machine.
