Hello,
I am running Arch on a dual book macbook pro (2015) laptop. Gnome and gdm.
I am having difficulty getting dual monitors to work properly.
The retina display is HiDPI with rez of 2560x1600
The second monitor is standard with native rez of 1440x900
I'm using arandr to set up the screens - which works well. (Second screen above main screen)
I also have to use xrandr to fix scaling on the second monitor (xrandr --output DP1 --scale 2x2).
Visually the second display looks fine and integrates well with gnome (for the most part).
The problem is that the mouse position on the second monitor is incorrect. Sometimes two mouse pointers appear on the second screen.
I will attach an image - I had to use my camera, because the second cursor is not copied with screen captures.
I am wondering how to get the cursor to show up correctly, and to align correctly on the second monitor.
Any suggestions?
