Stop listening to mic

I have a Samson Go Mic and it have a headphone output for no latency monitoring.
On Windows there is an option "Listen to this device" so I can turn this monitoring off, but I couldn't find something similar on Arch.
Anyone has an idea about how I stop listening to my mic?

Do you use alsa or pulseaudio? Because for pulseaudio you can use the software pavucontrol for controlling the volume level even turning some components off like for example the mic/headphones....

I'm using pulseaudio and just installed pavucontrol but it doesn't have the option that I want.
Right now I'm turning the mic off on the default sound settings of Gnome. But if I need to use the mic I have to turn it on and hear myself and this is what I don't want.

Don't know if you guys are familiar with this option on Windows, but right now what I'm experiencing is like I have this "Listen to this device" checked.

If you check in pavucontrol, is any of the streams set to Monitor of YourMic ? post the output of

pacmd list-cards
pacmd list-sinks
pacmd list-sources
#While having something open during which the problem occurs
pacmd list-sink-inputs
pacmd list-source-outputs
