Network card not working after installation

By far not my first installation, but here is my weird problem:

Installed as always according to the wiki from archiso 201504 (linux-3.19.2-1) and network worked (modules e1000e / r8168 loaded automatically). Once I boot into the new install network card shows via lspci, but modules get not loaded. Not on boot, not via modprobe.

Same result for current regular and current lts kernel and same result for onboard realtek r8186 or Intel 82574L pci card. My board is a MSI H97M-E35 and has no IOMMU setting.

Am I missing something here?

Sorry for not providing outputs, will be back at the machine later today. I thought maybe I am missing something general.

R8168 seems to be a separate package (probably due to licensing/being an out of kernel tree package) so you'd have to chroot in from the livecd and install this package via pacman

i tried that as well. will conflict with the kernel module r8168. Didn't change anything for me, when I replaced it.
