[SOLVED] choosing default available provider

Hi,
first of all I'd like to say that I spend much time on searching for a solution but haven't found anything that was at least close to my problem. So I decided to register in this forum and maybe someone can help me.

I'm trying to install an application via a script, therefore I chose the arguments '--noconfirm --needed' (it should be obviously automated). But I get stuck at an automatically executing prompt, which says:
'There are X providers available for Y'
Of course the default (=1) option is chosen, but due to dependencies I need another option (e.g. 2).

I hope the description is sufficient enough. Is there any workaround or argument which could solve this problem?

Thanks in advance. Greets.

Just install option 2 first with --asdeps.

Solved.

Thanks a lot. I misread the man page.
