Error in libpthread causing coredumps

Hi,

When running kodi, I get the following error message:

sept. 20 18:58:30 desktop kernel: traps: RemoteControl[339] general protection ip:7f858f5d0ac4 sp:7f8575662bb0 error:0 in libpthread-2.22.so[7f858f5c7000+18000]
sept. 20 18:58:32 desktop systemd-coredump[455]: Process 327 (kodi.bin) of user 420 dumped core.

I am posting in this section as this seems to be a problem in libpthread (and confirmed by the trace in the core dump) and not a problem in kodi itself. Found this thread (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=196499&p=2) that indicates that installing intel-ucode package should solve the issue, however it does not seem to be the case (installed it, checked in dmesg output that there was something about microcode update, but problem is still here).

I've just reinstalled my system and cannot remember having it before, although it was certainly pretty outdated.

Do you have any idea about this?
