Prelink throwing errors for each file linked

I managed to get prelink running with the suggested workaround on this thread.  The only thing is as it scrolls through each file I receive error messages about dependencies, dynamic links, and such. Most of the errors involve conflicts, like so:

Conflict 00001728 not found in any relocation

Is there anything else I need to do link all of my binaries together?
