AUR Downloads Crazy Slow in SouthEast Asia

Hi I'm Kyle Javier. I'm a little bit of an Arch Linux Noob just switched 2 months ago from Ubuntu/Debian and I have REALLY like the experience so far. I went to Arch because of The AUR pretty much the greatest software bank known to man. The problem is everytime I run Makepkg and then it starts downloading the source file or whatever it takes too damn long... Its pretty much a Fraction of my internet speed for example 1024kbps becomes 190kbps. Its ridiculous! ,Corebird took me 5 minutes to finish downloading and 5 mins building... i tried to see if anything was wrong (mirrors,configurations etc.) i dont see anything wrong so far... I've Checked makepkg.conf pacaur.conf, yaourtrc.conf, hosts, mirrorlist and heck even my ntpd.conf file..there is no signs of any line of code that will slow my downloads down..yet it is...Pacman downloads however are really quick snappy but AUR downloads are just incredibly slow.. I wish someone would help me...or at least tell me where to look

That download took me 3 seconds The source url is a github https://. You should not have any issues with that.
What happens if you try to download the archive through a browser?
Has your /etc/makepkg.conf been edited? Is it still using curl?
What happens if you use curl directly to get the url?
How about wget?
Are you using a proxy? Tor?

How are you building this? (Please don't say yaourt. If you are, let's try it by hand.)

I tried building by hand...... with yaourt..... and pacaur.. I'm still new to Arch so I'm always going by the Manual. The community said that it is safer to build by hand. So I retried (by hand) built some dependencies along with it. and still a very slow download rate.However pacman downloads seem to be Very snappy. I did edit my makepkg.conf to use wget but it is still slow. also tried aria2, heck even snarf. I am using Proxy is it just because I'm in Southeast asia and some places makepkg is pulling from doesn't have a close enough mirror? I dont know... I wish the Arch Community would be able to help out something I really missed from other distros was precompiled packages

EDIT: I also edited makepkg.conf to export to a directory..So if i have to reload I dont have to rebuild...

Realize that the AUR does not pull from any Arch repository. The AUR Tarbells themselves are, but that only provides the PKGBUILD, install scripts and the occasional patches. When you run makepkg (however it is invoked), it will go to some place on the network to download the source. The source is not part of the AUR. Source is often found on Sourceforge, github, bitbucket, etc. Often it is found on corporate servers (Google, HP, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, etc...). The source may be available by git, mercurial, svn, ftp, http, etc...

That makepkg is taking a long time has nothing to do with Arch servers. It has to do with how your machine accesses the machines that are called out by the PKGBUILDs. So, can you obtain the source identified in the PKGBUILD by hand using a browser? Using curl? using wget?
