Back In Time restore leaves old packages in Pacman.

So, I've been using Back In Time to save daily snapshots to an external drive, so I can roll the whole system back in case anything goes wrong.  After rolling back /var/lib/pacman/local has entries for multiple versions of the same package. Even, though I have backintime setup to delete newer packages there pacman doesn't seem to fully roll back.

I'm going to reinstall the whole system, since I think it will take less time to just start over from scratch. I'll just paste back the old config files after installing packages.  Next time I'll just use Rsnapshot, since it seems like a better tool. The only question I have is, which folders should I add or remove from exclude to avoid having a roll back mess with pacman's database?
