In the last couple of days firefox stopped being able to display flash content (VMware vCenter web-browser, videos etc.)
I have reinstalled freshplayer plugin, and downgrading firefox to 39.3 but still I see just black screen (or boxes). I remove freshplayer and followed to wiki to install the old flashplugin and still no luck.
Sites like http://www.codegeek.net/services/resour … test-page/ show I the plugin is installed (19.0.0)
Chrome is still working with flash
Anyone know if a recent update broke flash in firefox?

Hello, I have the same issue after an upgrade. I've try to downgrade mesa-11.0.2 and lib32-mesa-11.0.2 to 11.0.1 and now flash seems to work fine.

@gps1539 - if you don't know how to downgrade to a lower version number please see the Arch Linux wiki here https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Do … g_packages - this will tell you how to downgrade, though I haven't had a problem so far with the latest version but since I use the nvidia drivers instead of mesa maybe that's why it works for me....

Excellent, that fixes it. I'll see if anyone has submitted a bug

It is fairly easy to downgrade a package. Find the package in your cache or download from the arch rollback machine, then install with pacman -U
To solve this issue I ran pacman -U lib32-mesa-11.0.1-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz and pacman -U mesa-11.0.1-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz
More on downgrading @ https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Do … g_packages
To stop them being updated edit /etc/pacman.conf, uncomment IgnorePkg and add the package to not be upgraded.
For this issue
IgnorePkg = lib32-mesa mesa
Remember to edit this out later when the issue is properly fixed

I can confirm Malah's findings. Latest mesa update fixed this issue for me as well.
