Are there any GUI LADSPA hosts that will run with Pulseaudio? Thus far, I've only been able to find ones that use Jack.
In my search for a decent software compression setup for our podcast, I've come up with a really hacked-together solution involving Jack and Pulseaudio, which works, but isn't really ideal. I receive co-host audio in Pulse, route it to Jack for compression through Calf, and then back to Pulseaudio to be streamed out through OBS.
Jack isn't a standalone solution because several pieces of software (Mumble, Teamspeak, and OBS to name a few) will only work with Pulse, and loading LADSPA modules into Pulse, works?, but doesn't give me any runtime adjust-ability, which is a big downside.
