[SOLVED] automount - change mount options

Hi,

I am using PCManFM and gvfs (udisks2) for automounting removable media and I would like to change mount options for those. Yes, I know that I can use fstab, but I do not want to change mount opt only for one specific FS. For example, I would like to automount all USB pendrives (even those I borrowed from friends, generally formatted to FAT32 or NTFS) with noexec opt.

Is it possible to do it? Where should I start (PCManFM, gvfs, udisks2, udev, ...)?

Thanks for reply.

Re: [SOLVED] automount - change mount options

For that I would use something else, like udiskie or udevil/devmon which should be more liable to changing mount options.
udisks2 is pretty closed to choosing mount options.

You could also use Spacefm instead of PCmanFM.

Re: [SOLVED] automount - change mount options

SpaceFM looks like a good alternative to PCManFM. The FM function will be better solution for me then the standalone mount helper - FM will be runnig either, because of desktop icons. Thanks - I will try it.

So, it looks like this issue is solved... I am new to this forum - how can I mark this topic as solved?

So I will make the answer myself - it is enough to change the title by editing the first post. Silly me...
