After over a year of hard work porting archlinux to run and build in a x86_64 environment here is the first final set of installation cds:
Arch64 04.2006 base ISO + md5sum
Arch64 04.2006 ftp-only ISO + md5sum
If you still find bugs or have questions use this thread or let us meet in IRC #archlinux64 and read Arch64 Wiki section.
Have much fun with Arch64.

When i read the announcement title on archlinux.org frontpage, i thought it meant that Arch64 was now an 'official' project... maybe in a little while... anyway, you are doing just great!
Congrats on the milestone!
Edit:
Forgot to mention, im downloading the ISO to give it a spin... its been a long time since i played with the 64bit port!

I try to join seeding. I only miss a few bytes. Try to share them soon. Tracker looks ok but it's not downloading the missing parts.

/me seeding it most of the time (I'd say 23 hours a day)
Still, one guy leeched 137Ko for the moment
BTW, is the arch-04-2006_x86_64-base/ftp_only.iso ready for install from CD? or should one follow "How to get a base Arch64 system up and running (gcc-4.0)"?
Base ISO booted fine in this location, passed the Network config, but keep asking me if I "want to abort the installation" on HDD step. More preciselly just when I want to quit fdisk step. dmesg says nothing.
Got a single SATA HDD with 6GB on sda7 ready for a new test sytem

I'm seeding too now.
You don't need any other installation method from now on. The iso is all you need. I guess your S-ATA module is not loaded. Check with lsmod and maybe a modprobe may help to get hard disk working. But this should be discussed anywhere else.
