Hi all, i'm a ArchLinux user from few hours.
I've installed the system, it works but i had some issues:
I've repaired the GRUB because it didn't start after succesfully installation.
(In fact i had problems ONLY with the installation and configuration of GRUB).
i've seen that post for resolving and I've followed the Beginning Guide.
How I've sad before, i resolved from Ubuntu Live with Boot - Repair. Here the report.
My question is: What's the problem?
Can I get a "customized" GRUB interface?
Thanks a lot

The problem is, that we have no idea what your problem is, because you didn't tell us. Yes, you can get a custom Grub, just read the Grub article in the Wiki.

Hi Gigi, welcome to the forums.
As Awebb said, you are a bit sparse with the information. Can you give some information about your system, like do you dual boot (windows or linux, doesn't matter) and from which OS did you install grub? Which steps did you take to install grub and is your system a bios or uefi system?

Thanks for the quick replies.
I've got a notebook where I tried to install Arch Linux as OS (no other systems are present)
Sorry for the few details. I'll try to explain my problem better:
during the installation of Arch I had some issues.
In particular, during the grub installation i gave the commands:
# pacman -S grub
# grub-install --target=i386-pc --recheck /dev/sda
# grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
and the output was:
WARNING: failed to connect to lvmetad: No such file or directory. Falling back to internal scanning.
When I reboot the system, I remain to grub console.
I fixed it with from Ubuntu Live, with Boot Repair.
Here the report: http://paste.ubuntu.com/12714873/
Why there was that error? Was I wrong fixing it with Boot Repair?
Thanks in advance for your help.
