[SOLVED] Can't install networked printer (Lexmark CX510de)

Both the gnome printers setup and the CUPS web interface detect all of the networked printers in my building, but after clicking "add" the gnome printing dialog says it's installing the printer and stays like that forever, and the web interface says this:

Add Printer Lexmark510 Error

Unable to get list of printer drivers:

    Success

Add Printer Lexmark510 Error

Unable to get list of printer drivers:

    Success

which is kind of confusing

I have foomatic-db installed which has the PPD file for my specific printer (Lexmark CX510de). Anything else I can try? connecting with USB is, at this time, not possible.

Thanks!

EDIT: SOLVED it by removing the foomatic-db drivers. Afterwards CUPS was able to move on and asked me to point to the PPD file, which I downloaded from http://www.openprinting.org/printer/Lex … rk-CX510de
