Only one source can play at the time [Chromium blocks everything else]

Hi everyone!

Last week I was playing with some desktop enviroments to see which one was the best... after a while I came back to XFCE but know I have a problem with my audio: If I play something in ncmpcpp and then open a youtube tab, the video won't play until I pause the song. and after the video finish I won't be able to play any song till I close chromium.

I don't know why this is happening since is the first time this happens to me, so any help would be highly appreciated.
