ThinkPad T440 with BIOS 2.35

Is anyone running a ThinkPad T440 with BIOS revision 2.35?

Lenovo claims that the update fixes a BIOS security vulnerability, and once you install it, you can't roll back.

I've seen it mentioned on other forums that this update, even with UEFI safeboot turned off, prevents any distro of Linux from working other than RHEL and Ubuntu.

So, I am wary of installing it, but at the same time, don't like the idea of BIOS will a security hole in it.

Did the update.  No issues.

I am using rEFInd.  I could not get systemd boot (gummiboot) to work with the T440.
