xfce find on desktop

I have xfce on my arch.
When i am on Desktop and i it a key, the system does nothing.
I remember that if i hit a key and a file on desktop start with this key, the cursor must select this file.
Also if i write the name of a file existing on desktop, the system does not select it.
If i open thunar works.
It's normal?
Thanks

Re: xfce find on desktop

If I'm understanding you here correctly, you're asking about type ahead find on the desktop window. There isn't any type-ahead for the desktop window as the desktop window is an Xfdesktop window, not a Thunar window. However, you can select desktop entries from the keyboard by using the arrow keys.

Perfect, now it's clear.
So my xfce works normally.

Thanks
