Nouveau Unable to Start?

I can't seem to figure out what's going on here. The backstory is that I ran an update after a while and noticed that Kodi doesn't seem to be starting. After noticing that the Kodi log file wasn't incrementing its time, I looked at the Xorg log file. I don't really see any outstanding errors in the log file, but for some reason the Xorg server is shutting down at the end. Anyone know what's going on here? Possibly something to do with evdev? Thanks!

Just bare Xorg-server + xf86-video-nouveau + Kodi. No window manager. I was having issues with the network not coming up on boot before Kodi launched because of a flaky realtek nic. So I made my own systemd service file that basically starts on "idle," then manually launches "dhcpcd enp4s0," then launches the kodi via "systemctl start kodi.service." That seemed to be working out fine for the most part. For a while I was running Kodi with the kodi-standalone-service from AUR. There is a Kodi user that Kodi runs under because of this. Hope that helps.
