I want to install FEniCS and I am stuck at trying to install dolfin-git from AUR. The error I am getting is this:
-- Generating SWIG interface.
-- --------------------------
--
-- Generating form files in demo, test, bench and dolfin directories. May take some time...
-- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:883 (message):
Generation of form files failed:
-- Configuring incomplete, errors occurred!

See also "/tmp/yaourt-tmp-carlos/aur-dolfin-git/src/dolfin/build/CMakeFiles/CMakeError.log".I posted the output of CMakeError.log here:

and the output of CMakeOutput.log here:

Does anyone know what is going wrong and how I can get dolfin installed?

I'm guessing you mean dolfin-git .
Have you tried building with makepkg ?

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

Well,i'm not exactly a wizard with Cmake, but the error log seems to indicate some symboldefinitions are missing :
‘Q_WS_WIN’ was not declared in this scope
‘Q_WS_QWS’ was not declared in this scope
‘Q_WS_MAC’ was not declared in this scopeLooking at the output.log , these are the lines that trigger those errrors :
Determining if the Q_WS_X11 exist passed with the following output:

}the Q_WS_* are globals in QT4 [1] ), but have been replaced by other symbols in QT5 [2] .
It does appear dolfin-git code is written for QT4 , but you're building against QT5 .
I don't know how to tell cmake to use QT4 instead of QT5 for dolfin-git , but do you currently have QT4 installed ?
If not, try installing QT4 (arch allows QT4 and QT5 to be installed alongside eachother) and try if dolfin cmake detects & uses QT4 .
if that fails and you need fenics soon :
on http://fenicsproject.org/download/ you can download a virtual machine image for virtualbox with fenics latest released version.

Thanks Lone_Wolf for you suggestion. It seems I already had QT4 installed. Tomorrow I will try to see whether I can manually compile Dolfin from source. If I manage I will contact the maintainer of the package.
