I've read the wiki on it and on how to pair a bluetooth device but nothing works, not even USB. Connecting it through USB it'll blink and then look like it's connected by only leaving the player 1 LED on, but it doesn't work with any applications and they won't recognize it. lsusb recognizes it just fine as a typical DS3 controller and so does QtSixA(though none of the settings do anything, such as the LED ones). I also tried pairing it through bluetooth with both bluetoothctl and blueberry but neither detected anything when I press the PS button and it started flashing. I've tried installing xf86-input-joystick as well but that didn't help.
Now I know this controller works on Windows so it's not a hardware defect. And I'm pretty sure it isn't an imitation and I know there are issues with those.
If it helps, this is what dmesg gives me whenever I plug it in using USB
