More information about ACPI device name GLAN?

Hello all,

I just solved an issue I had with ACPI waking my laptop immediately after closing the lid by I disabling the GLAN device in ACPI. Does anyone know what this device is? I am curious to know. I have looked up specification sheets on ACPI, but I can't find a reference to this device name. I have a feeling it's network related... right?

GLAN      S4    *enabled   pci:0000:00:19.0

should do the job.

Thanks! It certainly was the Ethernet device.
