systemd-suspend doesn't work out of box on UX-305

It started as the issue that my laptop won't sleep on lidswitch. Then I typed suspend in Terminal manually and watched the log of systemd-suspend, and find it failed for some reason. I'm not using any userspace tools (no acpid etc) other than GNOME's default power manager. I wonder what's the possible cause?

$ sudo systemctl status -l systemd-suspend.service
- systemd-suspend.service - Suspend
   Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/systemd-suspend.service; static; vendor preset: disabled)
   Active: inactive (dead)
     Docs: man:systemd-suspend.service(8)
