Hi
Just finished installing arch Linux and gnome. Everything is working fine except that Nautilus is refusing to open from gnome and i have to start it through the terminal.
I have read that i should deleted contents of the applications folder but since i don't know which application folder they mean i haven't done it yet.
This is probably a noobish question but i would appreciate some help.

It runs from the terminal? Is anything interesting sent to the terminal when Nautilus opens?

How do i see what's sent to the terminal?
Btw it turns out that many of the preinstalled programs don't work. For example contacts, disks, and of course nautilus. They appear i the top right corner with the little loading circle and the disappears after a second or two.
