Hi
I'm installing Arch in a VirtualBox VM.
The last command issued was
pacman -S xorg-server
It retrieved about a dozen files then said
failed retrieving file 'mesa-11.0.3-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz'
and added that the URL got error 404.
Pacman tried several mirrors, with the same error.
I've tried again twice and got the same result.
Can't find anything with google.
Could it be that this file has dropped out of the repos so recently that no-one else has noticed yet?
Hope you don't need detailed logs, as I don't know how to get access to them at this stage: vbox extensions are not installed, so there's no shared folder; can't copy paste from the terminal (can't even scroll back).

Try
pacman -Syu
Offline
mesa is at 11.0.4 now, so I guess you should up{date, grade} your local package{s, repositories}.
Essentially
pacman -Syu xorg-server
EDIT ah, too late.

There is ix.io and sprunge.us.

Brilliant! Thanks
Maybe I'll try adding that to the Beginners' guide.

Why? This problem is already mentioned in the pacman wiki page [1] with a suitable solution.
