I have the impression that the laptop is consuming quite a lot of power in suspend mode under Linux. For example, putting the laptop for 10 hours in suspend mode under Linux will drain around 7% of the battery, compared to less than 1% with OS X. I'm not sure if OS X does something else, but certainly is not hibernating the computer, since it comes back to life immediately.
Is there is any tweaks I can do before putting the computer into suspend mode so I can get comparable power consumption to OS X?
Any help is highly appreciated.
