You have the optional packages installed on the other laptop?
Which optional packages? gvfs-goa and gvfs-google? Yes, sure. The problem remains that applications, trying to retrieve credentials from GOA daemon get a timeout. This affects not only Google Drive support in Nautilus, but also Evolution, Empathy and everything that uses GOA. And as I wrote before, the behaviour is totally erratic. Yesterday I force-uninstalled dbus and reinstalled it, after which it seemed to work. Today it's back to broken without any changes to the system. Really doesn't make sense, as far as I am concerned.

I can confirm a recent update to my laptop has fixed this bug.

Yesterday I saw the bug again on one of my laptops. A temporary fix that worked for me was killing the goa-daemon process, which automatically respawned and then worked normally.

I should add that it seemed to be working correctly, as I could view the contents of My Google Drive account. Moving a folder to Google Drive of +-4MB crashed the app and corrupted my files... I hope this was a one-time-thing only...

Fixed with last updates.
