I grabbed Mikos PKGBUILDs, and took a peak at the mesa build - it has the patch in it. I built it, installed it, and the issue persists.
i haven't rebuilt xgl itself just yet.

Is possible that you can add in your repo tcl/tk cvs packages with AntiAliasing flag enable? (aMSN look great with that ^^ )
thanks.
I'm a shadowhand repo user too, and everthing works fine.However, without the tcl/tk cvs packages looks amsn very bad. It will be fine, when Shadowhand could add this cvs packages.
Thanks

What do you say shadowhand?

I built XGL this evening and it fixed my issue. All my other XGL related packages are from shadowhands repo, this is the only one I needed to rebuilt to get XGL running again. you can grab the package i built here, if you want to give it a try. I used Mikos PKGBUILD and the only modification I made was to change the version number to 20060412. I had to install scrnsaverproto 1.1.0 from shadowhands repo to build it, i'm not sure if thats a dep or not.

I had the same problem when I've installed xfce4-svn after the stable one. But after arch reinstal (nevermind why) and installation only xfce4-svn everything goes fine.
Offline
Well, still broken here. I used an earlier package for libxfce4utl, since this is needed for xfce4-session also, and I coulnd't log in xfce4 without it =/
Offline
yep, it's broken for me too. there was another update about 20 minutes ago which fixed thunar, but libxfce4util and terminal (among others) were not fixed by this. can't login too with xfce4
pacman -Rcs xfce4-svn and reinstalling it solved the problems for me. everything works fine again here

There's a PKGBUILD for gaim-svn in AUR. Gaim has switched to svn since some weeks...

@Galdona: try this: pacman -Scc && pacman -Sy xfce4-svn xfce4-svn-extra xfce4-svn-plugins
You're getting that error due to having cached versions of packages that have changed.

xfce4-svn-plugins doesn't work anymore on my computer but xfce4-pluginpack-svn replaces very good and I've all my plugin with that ![]()

Shouldnt you at least increment the version or pkgrel with each release so that that does not occur?

@Shadowhand
Could you add these feature in your repo :

Agreed...I don't really like having to repeatedly clear my entire cache, as that destroys my chances of downgrading other packages easily should the need arise.

I just rm /var/cache/pacman/pkg/*xfce*

I'm going to be an ass, and say "no". It makes my job twice as hard to have to update the pkgrel (and then downgrade it). With non-cvs/svn packages, this is a non-issue, but because I don't know when a package is going to upgrade, it makes it very difficult.
If you are worried about it:
rm -f /var/cache/pacman/pkg/*xf*-svn*
rm -f /var/cache/pacman/pkg/*thunar*That will get most of them.

Not until it uses xarchiver instead of file-roller.

I guess I don't get it...when you are re-releasing PKGBUILDs that are using the same file version number from SVN, wouldn't you just have to change the pkgrel from 1 to a 2 and then whenever the SVN version is incremented just change it back to 1 like any other package? I'm not familiar with how SVN-based packages work, so it's entirely possible that I'm just not getting why it adds more work since your altering the PKGBUILD anyway...
Offline
I use versionpkg wrapped in a script to build everything in my repo at once, so changing the rel has to be done by hand... and that's a pain in my ass.

I don't find the PKGBUILD for gaim-svn on your repo Shadowhand. Is it based on my PKGBUILD on AUR?
