[SOLVED] xorg-server-1.17.4-2 breaks keyboard support

Updating xorg-server from 1.17.4-1 to 1.17.4-2 breaks keyboard support for my laptop and my desktop machine.

Reverting to 1.17.4-1 solves the problem.

Did you update xf86-input-evdev at the same time? Partial updates are not supported.

Re: [SOLVED] xorg-server-1.17.4-2 breaks keyboard support

I did pacman -Syu.

Strange:

pacman -Ss xf86-input-evdev
extra/xf86-input-evdev 2.10.0-1 (xorg-drivers xorg) [installed: 2.9.2-1]

Re: [SOLVED] xorg-server-1.17.4-2 breaks keyboard support

Doh.

I created a patched xf86-input-evdev 2.9.2-1 that solved a problem for me.  It was added it to the group "modified" so it is not upgraded by pacman. Then I forgot about it sad
Luckily my issues are solved by 2.10.0-1.  My custom package is no longer needed.
Certainly enough, with xf86-input-evdev 2.10.0-1 xorg-server 1.17.4-2  works perfectly.

Sorry for the noise :$
