Audio not working

I have installed pulseaudio, alsa-utils, alsa-oss but still my audio doesn't work .
It shows :

[pulseaudio] server-lookup.c: Unable to contact D-Bus: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.Spawn.ExecFailed: /usr/bin/dbus-launch terminated abnormally with the following error: No protocol specified

When do you get that error message? Did you check if the master is muted. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ad … e_channels

I reinstalled Arch and it worked .

Did you also install pulseaudio? Normally audio should work with just alsa installed.
