Hi I've had this problem for a wicked long time so this time around i will post debugging information unlike I did last time so here we go.
dmesg | grep -i microcode

#bsdtar -Oxf /boot/intel-ucode.img | iucode_tool -tb -lS -
selected microcodes:
#Now as you can see there is no sufficient unicode available for my system, Intel Broadwell. There is nothing worthwhile installed. But there is another backdoor to this. After I updated catalyst back in May when i did an pacman -Syu thats when I got a bunch of stuff start to break. So here is the output of my lspci:
#lspci

I was wondering what are your guys thoughts on all of this I have tryed all of the fixes and even recomiled glibc from scratch and did that enable-elision-lock thing and I still have these segmentation faults. Theres no intel-unicode available updated for my hardware or what I think is I have to downgrade my catalyst. But how can I do that?

I'm curious about what 'cat /proc/cpuinfo' says.

$This is the output not to understanding of what it all means maybe you can break it down for me a little bit. I'm fairly familiar with Arch Linux but I have some noobieness to my qualities. I haven't really spent alot of time focusing on the more complex aspects of linux.

This is not an "Intel Broadwell" system. According to the wiki, you should not need any microcode packages with an AMD processor (apart from linux-firmware, that is). Installing Intel ucode packages will not help!
Otherwise, I'm not sure what you are asking.

This is what I suspected, I saw too much AMD in the output of lspci for it to come from an Intel system. The conclusion is: intel-ucode will not work and cannot work. The problem is somewhere else.

ok so i erased the boot loader entry for intel unicode so i'm thinking this mite have something with the unicode conflicting with xorg combined with catayst so here is my cat xorg log thing:

$After scrolling thrw all that junk i couldn't find anything on microcode unless i midded something i probably did i hope this is fixed in the next update for xorg catalyst compatable.
Offline
According to the wiki, the catalyst package is no longer in the official repos - you should be using a package from the AUR (or an unofficial repo).
I suspect that you have done some kind of partial upgrade, to start with; please update using 'pacman -Syu' and then update and packages from the AUR, including catalyst. If that doesn't fix the issues, what programs segfault?
You should probably double check that you haven't missed something in the instructions on the wiki.
Personally, I'm not sure why programs would start to segfault because of catalyst. If you really think that catalyst is part of the issue, have you tried the FOSS drivers? That would help narrow it down.
