Hi..
I have MacBook Pro I use because I have to work with my laptop on my lap currently (and my Linux laptop is too big/heavy) but don't really like OS X (but like the hardware) so was playing with the idea to install Arch alongside the OS X installation. I see that there are several tutorials/wikis for this but just wondering how this work in real life? Does everything work as it should, keyboard, trackpad, wifi, screen, etc. Much hazzle to get it to work or does it mostly work out of the box?
Also if I install, should I just follow the archwiki for MacBook or is it any better guides out there?

"It's even worse than that; play it forwards and it installs Windows"

The wiki has worked well for me, there has been some issues around backlight drivers and trackpad drivers that I've had to explore the forums for but other than that it works well on my macbook air. I would say to get a sane trackpad working use https://github.com/p2rkw/xf86-input-mtrack
