Steam crashes on start

Not sure where really begin due to the array of errors, but I assume there is one thing that is causing it all.

Im using lib32-nvidia-lbgl since I have proprietary nvidia blob drivers.

I think the problem lies in:

surface_opengl.cpp (594) : Assertion Failed: id
Assert( Assertion Failed: id ):surface_opengl.cpp:594

Some have reinstalled steam and graphics drivers and killed the problem succesfully.
But first see the wiki.

My guess would be that you have incompatible driver version for steam.

Hmm, well im using the newest Nvidia drivers. Maybe steam hasnt updated to support it yet?

I'd suggest you to use Nouveau, but as you might wan't to get performance out of your system, that might not be an option.

This Reddit thread talks about the quite the same problem. The guy who had the problem says that the drivers were impropely installed. Whatever that means... I'd try to tweak some graphic settings from Nvidia settings.
But that's all I have now. Strange problem. I'll post here if I find something else worth mentioning.

More info, what's your card? is this an optimus laptop? Xorg logs (/var/log/Xorg.0.log)?
