Please confirm if Amazon video is working

Could someone here be able to let me know if Amazon video is working for them?

Up until yesterday, I was able to stream movies from Amazon Prime, but as of today I'm having issues. I'm able to stream the Amazon Original series content and the trailers for movies, but I'm not able to stream the actual movies. All I get is a circle spinning round and eventually it times out and gives me an error 7017.

I just updated my version of Chrome (48.0.2564.10 dev) and I was thinking that might be the problem, but Netflix movies stream fine.

I am able to stream Amazon Prime content. I just tested it, specifically the TV show Vikings. I'm using version 45.0.2454.93.

I remember having something like that back when I was using windows. It was something temporary, though, so just try at a later date. Don't have it anymore so can't really check if it works for me.

Have you tried streaming one of the Prime movies, like "ex machina"? Does that work for you as well?

Yes, I just tested it and ex machina started right up.

I'm glad that it's working for you. Now when I try to watch one of their videos I'm seeing the following message:

Your device is unable to play this video because we currently don’t offer a compatible video player. You can watch on Kindle Fire, mobile devices, game consoles, and other compatible devices.

No, I have not. Wish I knew what was going on with it.

I'm thinking that it has to be on Amazon's end, because Netflix works fine. I contacted Amazon for help, and they offered a few things to try, but nothing has helped.

That's a bit strange that only very few people face this issue... Have you tried with a windows computer (if you have one...)? I tried under debian and have the same issue, unfortunately, I have no windows...

Have you tried changing your browsers user agent to something amazon might like?

Well, problem solved for me by updating Chrome (stable 47.0.2526.80). I guess it was a bug or something...

Yes, with that version it also works for me now. Sweet!

I also just updated the development version that I have been using, but it still doesn't work. Looks like I'll be falling back to the stable version for now.

Yes, I tried that earlier, but it did not help. Thanks for the suggestions though.
