[Solved]kernel-module patches

I was tried to build Broadcom-wl for linux-libre-grsec-knock kernelAnd But found this on the ArchWiki
"Known incompatibilities with other packages:
broadcom-wl-dkms- fails to be compiled with linux-grsec-headers due to illegal memory access"

though I also found this
https://github.com/aur-archive/broadcom … rsec.patch

So I looked into Kernel patches - And found very little- but didnt understand any of it.
though isnt this module patching?

My Question :
how is this done so I can do it again?

Do you mean how can you apply the patch to build broadcom-wl against grsec kernel?

The patch should be applied against broadcom-wl driver sources.
Either edit your PKGBUILD if you have one, or apply the patch manually with 'patch'.
