I recently updated my system and re-installed mtrack as my touchpad driver. I'm seeing some strange two-finger scroll behavior. If I start a two-finger scroll and then stop moving my fingers (while leaving both fingers down), it continues to scroll in whatever direction I was moving in until I lift my fingers up.
This happens in every application, so it's definitely a driver issue.
Anyone else encounter this behavior and know how to fix it?

If anyone else is following this, I believe it's caused by a bug in the driver. I noticed that the upstream repo was changed in AUR, checked git issues for the new upstream and saw this:
https://github.com/p2rkw/xf86-input-mtrack/issues/6
Disabling smooth scroll is a work around for the moment.

Thanks, for the info, japostoles. I didn't update my kernel and xorg for about a month and a half and when I finally did the usability of my touchpad went straight to shit. The two-finger scrolling isn't the only issue. Since the update the touchpad resolution seems to have deteriorated as well (the driver constantly mistakes how many fingers i have used for clicking etc). I'm using a MacBook Pro 13" and in the past mtrack worked heavenly but at the moment it's a mess.
