Having removed Windoze and so forth, everything is working fine (WiFi out of the box with wpa_supplicant, KDE w/ external USB mouse) except that I cannot seem to find the trackpad.
lsusb shows nothing like a track pad. Not sure where else to go looking?
P.S. $149 new at Fry's. 2G RAM / 32G flash. Couldn't resist. If the trackpad could be made to work, it would be a really nice little travel laptop.

Make sure you have xf86-input-synaptics installed.
Btw, your post gave me a good laugh. I had cloud to butt extension enabled on firefox.

Check BIOS if the trackpad has been disabled.

@mhoogland: You get 0.9 points :-) No way to disable the trackpad in the BIOS, but there was a setting toggling between "basic" and "advanced". Switching it to "basic" made it work.
