Failed To send command?

Sometimes, when I'm in ICEWM and choose mozilla-firefox from the menu,  nothing happens.  When I look in terminal one, where I started startx, I get this message...

Failed to send command.

I noticed this espescially happened when I was running Mozilla-Thunderbird.  Any answers?

Okay, I got it to work just by reinstalling, and removing all directories:
/opt/mozilla-firefox/
~/.phoenix

That worked for me!
