Hi,
I want to install Archlinux on my laptop.Unfortunately, I am stuck in the first step, connecting Internet.
I use "wifi-menu" to find signal and everything goes well until I use 'ping -c 3 www.baidu.com' to test Internet connection.
It seems that all the packages are lost but the system show me that wlp3s0(my wireless interface) does have IP when I use "ip addr" to check network status.
Anyone can help me with it?
Thanks.
Yang.

Can you ping 8.8.8.8?
EDIT: Or your router?
The verbatim output of those commands would be useful.

Head_on_a_Stick:
Thanks for your response,
I have tried to ping 8.8.8.8 and all packages are still lost.
This wifi is generated by my desktop computer with a Portable router and I haven't use ping to test.

Do a traceroute/tracepath to 8.8.8.8 to see where your packets get lost.

Thanks Head_on_a_Stick and c0mm0ner.
Now, it is very clearly that it's a stupid mistake made by myself.
I have spent about 30 hours on installing arch on my computer and finally make it.
