logitech g600 mmo mouse teleporting issue

-preamble-
i just installed arch, i switched to attempt pcie pass though for windows emulation using kvm. most of my research into it points to arch, so i want to try  arch first due to the wealth of resources for this project.

I've been using fedora 23 before arch

my specs are as follows
i5 4690 (non k)
asus 970 dc mini
16GB 1600 mhz ram (i think Kingston)
adata sp900 256GB
silverstone sfx 600W

START HERE

-the problem-
so i've installed arch with gnome. whenever i click any of mouse buttons the courser teleports to either the top edge of the screen or the left edge depending on what button is clicked.

this has not happened with any other distribution I've used with this mouse (fedora and ubuntu, the other distros I've tried i did not use this mouse)

my old amazon basics mouse works fine, with no problems

-what i've done to try to fix it-
1. reinstalled arch
2. re downloaded and re installed arch
3. looked at the input devices text document
4. checked the mouse settings
5. restart my pc
6. check the usb port
7. check to see if it was the usb hub

but as i'm sure you figured out, by this post's existance, nothing really helped.

i've looked around in the internet, but nothing matches my situation that i could find.

-p.s.-
if i can't find a solution , I'll just attempt the emulation in fedora. although i seriously i doubt there is not a solution, this is Linux after all.
