Hi, Not really a Linux Newbie here.. Maybe a little bit of an Arch Newbie because I just switched 2 months ago... Its been Great so far.. anyway one of the Apps I used in my previous distro was Nitrotasks... Before I switched to Arch I saw this in The AUR (and all the other apps i needed) sadly when I switched suddenly it was pulled... I believe its because some of the dependencies dont exist anymore... Not sure about that though anyway i dont really know where to post this so hopefully you guys could tell me where to properly post this that would really be great )
Anyway the Source file is here i believe:
https://launchpad.net/nitrotasks
and precompiled debs (if debtap will be used) are here:
https://launchpad.net/~cooperjona/+arch … nitrotasks

I'm not sure if English is your first language, but posting demands is not the best way to entice the community to help you out. You may want to revisit your choice of wording in your topic title.
Moving to AUR Requests.

If you feel up to it, try modernising the original PKGBUILD.
You may need to have a poke around in aur-archive for the dependency packages first, though.

Sorry for my choice of wordings..I personally don't see anything wrong with it..but if I have to comply with the Arch Community. I would definitely go for it. Definitely a community I would wanna be apart of
EDIT: Oh, you meant the title, sorry that is a terrible way to ask for a PKGBUILD sorry

Hi there,
I have created the package as i wanted to give nitro another try and there was no package. I simply took the provided pkgbuild and fixed the dependencies.. Package is now available in the aur
Cheers,
