[Solved] Plasma 5: no window decoration, no windows in window bar

Hi,

after pacman -Syu yesterday my desktop behaves strangely.

Every window has no decorations surrounding it (i.e. no close, max, minimize buttons) and the window bar in my control bar remains empty.
However, I can lauch programs using the normal K menu, which is also looking quite normal.
Interestingly, I cannot move windows aroung using <Alt>+<Left mouse> except for tunderbird where it works.
Alt-F4 does not work.

I have an nvidia 970gtx with proprietary drivers and a dual monitor setup. Despite all these threads mentioning problems with these components, they work flawlessly.
Do you have any idea how I can further investigate what's my problem?

Solved it by installing kwayland.
