Re: [forums] URGENT - READ! Updated to 2.0.20

Indeed, alas, such pointless and lazy flammage brings out the worst in me, especially when it is with regard to something I have worked hard on.  The fact that it is still broken, despite my best efforts during my Easter break, adds to the irksome nature of such commentary.

Sorry to report: "Remember me" is working, here.  Haven't had to log in for over a week (AFAICR).  Have cookies off? (Just a shot in the dark.)

Haven't noticed that happening at all here - "remember me" seems to be working fine.

I have noticed that the feature/option isn't working where you can keep new posts in certain forums from showing up in the "view posts since last visit" search.  It was working fine before the upgrade but seems to be gone now.   :?

Re: [forums] URGENT - READ! Updated to 2.0.20

OK, the fix is beyond me and my limited server access.  I believe the fix requires sql intervention from the Judd.  I have emailed him and hopefully my suggestion will work.

However, in the meantime, if anyone can check the following error to see what the mismatches is i.e. how many fields are there versus values to fill them, that'd be great... wink

SQL Error : 1136 Column count doesn't match value count at row 1

INSERT INTO phpbb_users (user_id, username, user_regdate, user_password, user_email, user_icq, user_website, user_occ, user_from, user_interests, user_sig, user_sig_bbcode_uid, user_avatar, user_avatar_type, user_viewemail, user_aim, user_yim, user_msnm, user_attachsig, user_allowsmile, user_allowhtml, user_allowbbcode, user_allow_viewonline, user_notify, user_notify_pm, user_popup_pm, user_timezone, user_dateformat, user_lang, user_style, user_level, user_allow_pm, user_active, user_actkey) VALUES (5938, 'testuser-monkeyboy', 1145707296, 'fa820cc1ad39a4e99283e9fa555035ec', '780223@myrealbox.com', '', '', '', '', '', '', '', '', 0, 0, '', '', '', '', 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 0, 1, 1, -6, 'D M d, Y g:i a', 'asc', 'english', 1, 0, 1, 0, '4ac6cb716114ea91ac')

Re: [forums] URGENT - READ! Updated to 2.0.20

I count 34 fields and 36 values. Also, some of the values don't seem to match the field. For example, date format is 29th value but 28th field. You seem to be just missing 2 fields.

What is the 'asc' that is 30th in values? Doesn't seem to have anything listed in fields (between dateformat and lang).

Re: [forums] URGENT - READ! Updated to 2.0.20

Here's a breakdown of the sql statement.
I've compared it with my profile info, and it looks like the Yabber address field is missing. It should probably be in the user_aim, user_yim, user_msnm part.

As iBertus mentioned there is also something wrong at the bottom, starting with user_dateformat.

user_id 5938
username 'testuser-monkeyboy'
user_regdate 1145707296
user_password 'fa820cc1ad39a4e99283e9fa555035ec'
user_email '780223@myrealbox.com'
user_icq ''
user_website ''
user_occ ''
user_from ''
user_interests ''
user_sig ''
user_sig_bbcode_uid ''
user_avatar ''
user_avatar_type 0
user_viewemail 0
user_aim ''
user_yim ''
user_msnm ''
user_attachsig ''
user_allowsmile 1
user_allowhtml 1
user_allowbbcode 1
user_allow_viewonline 1
user_notify 1
user_notify_pm 0
user_popup_pm 1
user_timezone 1
user_dateformat -6
user_lang 'D M d, Y g:i a'
user_style 'asc'
user_level 'english'
user_allow_pm 1
user_active 0
user_actkey 1

Re: [forums] URGENT - READ! Updated to 2.0.20

Ahhh, thanks lads.  That's helped tons.  I threw that post up as my battery was dying on my laptop at my local hotspot.

The asc is from post_sort_order, which you can't see.  So the missing fields are the jabber_id and post_sort - I'll fix that no problem.

Cheers guys1

Re: [forums] URGENT - READ! Updated to 2.0.20

One more thingy - forum codepage went ISO8859-1, and international characters posting broke.

For example, the next line should have contained greek characters:
Δοκιμή

Surprisingly, older posts do show up fine
