Hi, Im trying to get Arch Linux (latest version) to successfully boot on my new Asus Zenbook UX305CA, but am so far having no luck. I used this video tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=METZCp_JCec , and I had no issues with any of the steps. I installed all the defaults (gnome environment, grub, etc.) that were in the video tutorial. I am trying to create a dual-boot configuration, alongside Windows 10 that is already pre-installed on my new laptop. Only thing that I did different than the tutorial was the size of the swap partition, which I made 4GB.
After rebooting, I am able to get into grub menu, and choose Arch Linux. Thats where the problem begins. At the evry beginning of loading, I see these errors:
starting version 228
Arch_Linux: clean, 80604/6144000 files, 979191/24551424 blocks
[ 1.389604] tpm_crb MSFT0101:00: ioremap of the command buffer failed
[ 1.487666] iwifi 0000:01:00.0: Unsupported splx structure
[ 1.499943] snd_hda_intel 000:00:1f.3: failed to add i915 component master (-19)
And this is were the process gets completely stuck, with no further progression in loading.
My wifi worked fine during installation from live USB.
Im completely stumped as to what to do, and I could not for the life of me find any similar cases.
Is there anyway to fix this?
I am grateful for any advice.
P.S: I am running SecureBoot, in case that makes any difference

Please don't use youtube tutorials; they are almost always outdated and are always wrong.
More detail about your setup is needed to help diagnose the issue, but start by reading this: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ke … odesetting

Don't follow random videos to install Arch as they nearly always have outdated, incorrect information in them.
Follow either the Beginners Guide or the Installation Guide from the wiki, they're the only official installation instructions.
Edit - Ninja'd

^^^ Hehe, lesson learned the hard way.
I just read the "Disabling Modsetting", and I have a question as to where should I input the kernel parameters. Only place I can think of is the GRUB terminal (please correct me if im wrong, as I am a complete newb).
Also, what additional information is required for diagnostics? Are there any commands that I can make use of to get detailed information that is required?
Thanks in advance

The link I provided has detailed instructions for either adding it to your kernel line at boot or permanently; please read it. The community has provided the documentation on the wiki so people can help themselves, and not expect to have their hand held.
Details of your setup, what is printed to the journal for a failed boot are all material that would help diagnose the issue.
